Pulling a code is not a diagnosis. A code tells us which circuit is unhappy, not which part failed. Here is what actually happens to your vehicle.
- We read the stored codes and the live data behind them
- We test the likely causes and rule them out one at a time
- We check the battery and charging system while it is here
- You get a written report of what we found
- You get an estimate with parts and labor listed separately
- Nothing is repaired until you approve it
If your light is flashing rather than steady, stop driving. A flashing light usually means raw fuel is reaching the exhaust, and the catalytic converter can be destroyed in minutes. Call us before you drive over. The difference between flashing and steady, explained.
And if you decide to do nothing? That is a real option and we will tell you whether it is a safe one. You keep the written report either way. There is no minimum repair and nothing is owed for the diagnosis while this offer is running. If you do go ahead, parts and labor we supply carry a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty.
